Most of us admit to being overworked, hurried, anxious, lonely, and battered by uncertainty.
We want to be thankful for all that we have, but the chaos of our lives holds us back. We know that experiencing gratitude can reduce our stress, lead to a happier home, and make us feel more optimistic about ourselves and the world around us. Yet our ability to be grateful often ebbs and flows. When life is good, it’s easy to feel grateful, but when life is full of hurts and challenges, gratitude takes a back seat.
But the hope of more—more peace, more Jesus, more appreciation for the people in our lives that often go overlooked—keeps us trying to find ways to be thankful. In The One Year Daily Acts of Gratitude Devotional, through relatable stories, encouraging Scripture, and reflection questions, we are invited to shift our focus and increase our gratitude.
Each day this year, find easy-to-do ideas for incorporating gratitude into our lives and uncover the good that God was doing all along.

If you were to pick one word for the year, what would it be?
Invite . . . Abide . . . Balance . . . Simplify . . . ?
Every
January, many of us proclaim our word for the year, choosing something
inspiring that will help us set our intention for the coming months. But
what would happen if rather than choosing one word for an entire year
(because let's face it, some of us forget by March), we focused on one
good word each day—one thought-provoking, spiritually relevant, and
encouraging word that reveals the many lovely and delightful truths of
who Jesus is in our lives?
One Good Word a Day offers
simple, but deeply spiritual meditations that will help readers linger
on one word each day so they can identify and reflect on how Jesus as
the Word influences their daily lives.
Jesus is more than one word. He offers us abundance, hope, peace, kindness, courage, mercy, and so much more. One Good Word a Day reminds readers that in Christ, we find all we need to live encouraged and uplifted every day.
One Good Word a Day: 365 Invitations to Encourage, Deepen, and Refine Your Faith is now available at Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Tyndale, Christian Book Distributors and more!

The 100 Daily Acts of Friendship for Girls Leader Guide is HERE!
This year, let God draw you into deeper friendship with Himself and the people He has placed in your life.
Discover the power of kindness to change your heart, inspire your family, and draw you closer to God.
What would happen if you and your family committed to doing one act of kindness each day for a year?
"Because, nowadays no one stoops so low," he replied. (source unknown)
But what does it mean—what does it look like—to stoop low?
This is the question we sought to answer through the challenging verses laid out before us in the Beatitudes. What does it mean to be poor in spirit? Meek? Persecuted? We wrestled through the passages, pouring prayers and tears and honest conversations over these words of Jesus. What we wrote is an outpouring of the work God is undertaking in each of our hearts. Have we arrived? No, not even close. But we’ve begun a journey toward understanding God in a deeper way. It’s our first attempt to stoop low. And we hope you’ll join us. Now available on Amazon in hard copy and as an e-book.
